NEA Nuclear Data Week

28 November - 2 December 2011

NEA, Issy-les-Moulineaux, France

This Nuclear Data Week was organized at the NEA Headquarters to promote co-operation between experimentalists, evaluators and end-users (e.g. reactor physicists) with the objective to improve evaluated nuclear data.

Workshop on Nuclear Data Measurements

This international workshop, co-organised with the French GEDEPEON collaboration, covered the status of current experimental programmes as well as the needs and priorities for new measurements with the aim to improve evaluated data and their uncertainties.

Meeting of the JEFF File Project

The JEFF and EFF/EAF meetings covered progress in nuclear data activities aiming at further improving the JEFF files for fission and fusion applications.

Meeting of the WPEC Subgroup 33

The Working Party on International Nuclear Data Evaluation Co-operation (WPEC) provides a worldwide framework for co-operative activities between major nuclear data evaluation projects (e.g. ENDF, JEFF, JENDL). WPEC Subgroup 33 studies methods and issues in the combined use of integral experiments and covariance data with the objective of recommending a set of best and consistent practices in order to improve evaluated nuclear data files.
